I really cannot believe I have finally done it. So I hope you enjoy my journey in creating this blog as well as my Passion for Scrapping.
My main reason for starting this blog is to share my new adventure I am starting on 1st February 2012 it's called LOAD 212 Past Perfect and it's ran by Lain Ehmann from Layout a Day. The mission is to complete a page a day for the whole of February 29 completed pages which includes the storytelling and as a few of my friends will know that's where I can get stuck. I know with Lain and the LOADsters' help I will get there, as they send out a lot of LOVE and ENCOURAGEMENT.
Some of the other LOADsters organised a Blog Hop which was fabulous they shared their experiences, tips they have learnt through their journeys, fantastic layouts and photos. The main thing they shared was don't stress and have fun. And it's ok if you miss doing a pages, life is unpredictable so just go with the flow and do what you can. So that has helped me out a lot as no one is judging me and it's not a failure if I don't get a page done every day. The main things is get the page DONE totally completed so it can be put in the album and everyone can share the story.
As this is the beginning of my story, I have taken some photos to let you see what I've been up to the last couple of days getting ready for LOAD.
My nice clean space I'll be working at!
My box of photos, these are about me and the photos I took in the 1960s-1970s
It should be a bit of a hoot, looking back at the past.
Yesterday I attended the special crop with Lain and other LOADster, it's was so funny poor Lain's video feed couldn't work so main of the other LOADster were making suggestion for Lain to use so we could see here but nope it just couldn't be done so Lain was there in voice and spirit. We had lots of FUN, FUN, FUN.
This is me trying to take a photo of me watching the video, you can just see my hand, so much for a self portiat, LOL.
Now last night I decided to share just a couple of things my Layout a Day journal, Chaos our dog being a my supervisor and me ready and raring to start LOAD.
Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at me preparing for LOAD.
Tomorrow is D-Day, so come on back at I'll let you know how I'm going.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Hey Deborah! Love the blog! Congrats on taking the plunge! I look forward to seeing what that beautiful clean scrap space looks in a few days! Ha! Would love to know more about your LOAD journal. Do you keep copies of the layouts in there with notes? See you tomorrow!

Hi Kelli, everything Lain sends from Scrap Happ and layout a Day I put into the journal. I'm now up to me second journal. When I go to crops I take the journals for inspiration and when I done my layout I take photos and put them into the journal.
DeleteUnfortunately I'm a perfectionist, so I drive myself crazy,I have to measure everything I do. My brother taught me a formula to be able to get the scale right of what the layout looks like so my journal has the all measurements I need to make that layout.
Hi Deborah! This is a great blog! Good for you for jumping in with both feet! I look forward to seeing your layouts & blog as we go! (I always intend to blog during LOAD & only sometimes do...but then I only sometimes blog anyways LOL!)
